Tavistock Development Company

Tavistock Development Company, the Orlando real estate arm of Tavistock Group, rebuilt Pier Sixty-Six on Fort Lauderdale's 17th Street Causeway into a 32-acre resort, superyacht marina and 88-residence condominium community, completed in 2025, and filed a second phase of 4 towers in May 2026.

Tavistock Development is best known for master-planned communities in Central Florida, Lake Nona and Sunbridge, and describes a portfolio of residential, retail, commercial and industrial projects. It bought Pier Sixty-Six in 2016. The redevelopment was set back by Hurricane Irma in 2017 and by the pandemic before the resort reopened in January 2025 with 325 rooms, the restored Pier Top tower, a 164-slip marina for vessels up to 400 feet and the 13,000 sq ft Zenova Spa.

The residential program sold in 3 concepts across 4 buildings: Azul, launched at the October 2022 boat show; Indigo, launched in October 2023 from $5.5 million; and the low-rise Resort Residences. Indigo was completed in 2025 and its penthouse closed at $14.5 million, reported as a Broward record for a new-development condominium. A second Indigo penthouse has been marketed at $16 million. In May 2026 Tavistock filed Phase II: 4 towers of 23 stories and 270 feet with 339 residences, plus office, retail and a grocery, on about 8 acres of the property.
