The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Pompano Beach is Fortune International Group and Oak Capital's 205-home project at 1380 South Ocean Boulevard: a 32-story Beach Tower on the sand and a 14-story Marina Tower on the Intracoastal across A1A. Revuelta Architecture designed both and Piero Lissoni the interiors. The Beach Tower was cleared by the FAA to 353 feet, the tallest in the city. More than 90% sold before construction peaked, so today's buyers deal in resales and assignments.

About The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Pompano Beach
The project spans 4.6 acres on both sides of A1A. The Beach Tower sits on 2.25 acres with 250 feet of ocean frontage and holds 117 residences behind continuous curved glass balconies. The Marina Tower, across the road, has 250 feet on the Intracoastal, 88 residences and the private marina. The FAA cleared the Beach Tower in 2023 to 353 feet, above the 334-foot Pompano Beach Club towers that had been the city's tallest since 1975.
Fortune and Oak Capital launched sales in December 2021, broke ground in November 2022 at more than 75% sold and closed a $259 million construction loan from Bank OZK in December 2023. Moss Construction is the builder. By late September 2025 glass, rails, stucco and paint were done on both towers, the cranes were gone and the landscaping was in, and completion was expected in 2026.

The Beach Tower has 1 to 5 bedroom homes from about 1,500 to 4,850 square feet on floors 4 to 30, plus 4 penthouses of 5,037 to 7,193 square feet on floors 30 and 31. The largest, PH 3101, adds a rooftop terrace of about 69 by 84 feet with a private pool. Each Beach Tower home has a private elevator lobby, and the penthouses include staff quarters.
The Marina Tower is the smaller-format building: 1 to 3 bedroom homes from 906 to 2,080 square feet on floors 3 to 12 and 4 penthouses of 2,240 to 3,985 square feet with rooftop terraces and pools. All homes in both towers were delivered with flooring, Italian kitchens and finished baths with THG Paris fittings, plus full-size laundry rooms.

Who is building The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Pompano Beach
Fortune International Group, founded by Edgardo Defortuna in Miami in 1983, developed the project with Ricardo Dunin's Oak Capital through 1380 Ocean Associates, LLC. It follows Fortune's Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sunny Isles Beach and is Dunin's third project with the brand. Luis Revuelta's firm designed the towers, Lissoni & Partners did the interiors and landscape concept and Moss Construction built it. Fortune Development Sales handled sales.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Pompano Beach location
The towers sit on South Ocean Boulevard about a mile south of the Pompano Beach pier, just south of the Waldorf Astoria Residences at 1350. The Beach Tower faces the sand directly; the Marina Tower looks west over the Intracoastal and the canal neighborhoods behind it. The Pompano Beach Fishing Village and pier are a few minutes north, and Las Olas Boulevard is about 20 minutes south.

Before you place a deposit
- There is no developer inventory to speak of. Expect resales and contract assignments, and check the original contract price and assignment fees before negotiating.
- Completion slid from 2025 to 2026 and we could not confirm a 2026 certificate of occupancy. Ask the seller for the current closing schedule.
- The towers are on opposite sides of A1A. Marina Tower owners cross the road to reach the beach club, and Beach Tower owners cross it to reach the boats.
- The Beach Tower sits in FEMA Zone VE with a 13-foot base flood elevation; the Marina Tower is in Zone X. Insurance and reserves will reflect the oceanfront exposure.

- Buyers who want a finished or nearly finished branded building rather than a 2028 or 2029 promise
- Boat owners who want an Intracoastal slip, sold only to owners, with a building on the beach

Very little, if anything. The project was more than 90% presold by December 2023 and Fortune no longer lists it among its active sales projects. A broker building page showed 2 listings for sale in October 2026. Most purchases now are resales or assignments of pre-construction contracts.
When will The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Pompano Beach be finished?
Groundbreaking guidance in 2022 was 2025. By late September 2025 both towers had finished exteriors and the cranes were down, and Florida YIMBY reported it on track for completion in 2026. We have not confirmed the certificate of occupancy date.
