About Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach
KORA designed the tower with Nichols Architects as architect of record: a rounded glass shaft about 308 feet tall with deep curved balcony edges, bronze accents that nod to the original Waldorf Astoria in New York and sculpted columns at the porte-cochere. It sits on a 2-acre parcel with about 200 linear feet of beach, east of South Ocean Boulevard.
Merrimac Ventures, the Motwani family's company, controlled the site for more than a decade before partnering with Related. The project launched in October 2023, broke ground in April 2025 at 70% sold, closed a $160 million construction loan from Bank OZK in June 2025 and reached its full height in spring 2026, with Coastal Construction as general contractor.

BAMO designed the interiors: Italian kitchen cabinetry with stone counters, integrated Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances including a full-height wine refrigerator in most units, Dornbracht fixtures and marble primary baths with a freestanding tub.
The upper floors hold 4 penthouses priced at $16 million to $20 million, each with wraparound terraces and up to 70 linear feet of ocean frontage. The top 2 add rooftop terraces of 3,200 to 3,500 square feet with private pools, summer kitchens and air-conditioned lounges.
