W Pompano Beach Hotel and Residences

The 77 private residences have 2 to 4 bedrooms in 2,400 to 3,400 square feet, with private elevator entry, 9.5-foot ceilings and views to both the ocean and the Intracoastal from every home. Meyer Davis designed the interiors in light neutrals; kitchens have Italian cabinetry, stone counters and Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, and every home has a den, powder room and walk-in laundry.

The 9 penthouses on the upper floors run from about 3,250 to more than 6,200 square feet with ceilings up to 11 feet and full-width terraces. The top 3 have private rooftop terraces of up to 2,800 square feet with pools and outdoor kitchens. Separately, 296 furnished hotel suites of 580 to 1,860 square feet are sold to buyers who want a unit in the hotel's rental program.

Residence owners get their own lobby, a 12,000-square-foot residents pool deck with a spa and cabanas, a fitness center with saunas and steam rooms, an owners club lounge, meeting rooms and a Great Room with individual wine storage. That sits alongside the full W hotel: a 60,000-square-foot WET pool deck with pickleball and padel courts, a 6,800-square-foot AWAY Spa, a FIT gym, a game lounge with racing and sports simulators and The Living Room bar and event space.

Marriott will manage the hotel, and owners can order hotel services by the hour: housekeeping, in-residence dining, private chefs, childcare and pet care. Owners also get discounts at Marriott hotels worldwide. Pets are allowed.

This is the busiest corner of the Pompano Beach shoreline: the rebuilt pier, the Fishing Village restaurants and the city's beach garages are steps away. Atlantic Boulevard runs west from the pier to the Intracoastal bridge and Federal Highway. Waldorf Astoria and The Ritz-Carlton Residences are about a mile south on South Ocean Boulevard, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is about 30 minutes away.
