Nora House is the first for-sale residential building in the Nora District, the warehouse-turned-dining neighborhood along North Dixie Highway north of downtown West Palm Beach. The Ronto Group of Naples is developing it with the district's master developers, NDT Development, Place Projects and Wheelock Street Capital: an 11-story building of 117 two- to four-bedroom residences by Swedroe Architecture with interiors by Lillian Wu Studio. Sales opened in March 2026 from the low $2 millions, groundbreaking is anticipated in mid-2027 and completion in 2029.

About Nora House

Nora is a 40-acre district bounded by Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, Quadrille Boulevard, North Dixie Highway and the FEC railway, where the master developers have converted brick warehouses into restaurants, shops and a boutique hotel. Nora House is its residential anchor: eleven stories, a mid-rise rather than a tower, with about 18,900 square feet of commercial space at street level that extends the district's retail.

The low height is deliberate. The building is scaled to the district's two- and three-story fabric, which means fewer homes per floor and terraces that look over rooftops to the skyline rather than straight at a neighboring tower. Expanded-terrace residences on the fourth level reach 6,700 square feet of total living area.

Nora House residences and prices

Two to four bedrooms from roughly 1,460 to 2,900 square feet under air, plus the fourth-level terrace residences and pool-level penthouses. The developer's site quotes pricing from the low $2 millions; launch coverage put the range at $2 million to $6.5 million. The published size minimums differ between pages on the developer's own site, so get the plan book rather than the brochure figure.

North Dixie Highway at 11th Street is a ten-minute walk north of Clematis Street and a few minutes from the Brightline station. The district's restaurants are on the doorstep, Currie Park and the North Flagler waterfront are a short walk east, and the FEC corridor runs along the western edge. Buyers comparing Nora House with Banyan Tree or the Berkeley are choosing between a walkable village and a downtown tower.

Before you place a deposit

  • Groundbreaking is not anticipated until mid-2027 and completion in 2029. The pre-construction hold is among the longest on this list.
  • The developer's site lists inconsistent minimum sizes and bedroom counts. Ask for the floor plan book with square footage under air and on terrace.
  • The building is not on the water and sits beside the Brightline and freight rail corridor. Stand on the site when a train passes.
  • Nora is a district still being built out. Confirm which planned retail and hotel pieces are financed and which are concept.

Who it suits

  • Buyers who want to walk to dinner more than they want a water view
  • Owners who prefer a mid-rise with six guest suites and a bowling alley to a 28-story tower with a marina
  • Purchasers who want a new building in the low $2 millions with 2029 delivery and can hold a deposit that long
